Welcome to BHM (“Be Here Meow”). By accessing or using our website, application, or services, you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy.

1. Eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years old, or have parent or guardian consent where applicable.
  • You must provide accurate registration information and keep it reasonably up to date.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.

2. Use of the Service

BHM provides tools for journaling, reflection, and related product features. You are solely responsible for the content you create, upload, or share through the service.

You may not use the service to post unlawful, abusive, harassing, or otherwise prohibited content. We may suspend or terminate access for misuse or violations of these terms.

2.1 AI Features

Some features may use AI to generate summaries, suggestions, or other outputs. Those outputs are provided for informational purposes only. They are not legal, medical, financial, therapeutic, or other professional advice, and we do not guarantee their accuracy or suitability for your situation.

3. Optional Paid Plans

When a paid plan is available, its price and billing interval are shown before checkout. Stripe processes the payment and renews the subscription for that interval until you cancel it.

You can manage or cancel an active subscription through Account → Billing. Cancellation does not delete your account or journal. Account deletion is separate and cancels any active Stripe customer subscriptions before removing the account.

4. Data Storage and Availability

We use hosted infrastructure providers to operate the service, including database, storage, and email systems. While we take reliability seriously, no online service can guarantee uninterrupted availability or zero risk of data loss.

You are responsible for keeping separate copies of any content that is especially important to you.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

The service is provided on an AS IS and AS AVAILABLE basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted availability.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, BHM and its affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, goodwill, use, or data arising from your use of the service.

7. Account Termination and Deletion

You may request account deletion or support by contacting [email protected]. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or create risk to the platform.

Some data may remain in backups or operational logs for a limited period after deletion.

8. Changes to the Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after a change becomes effective means you accept the revised terms.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Our principal place of business is in Portland, Oregon.
