Writing and Organization
How do tags and mentions work?
Include #tags and @mentions in an entry. The Entries page extracts them into filters so you can narrow the list, timeline, or calendar to related writing. Remove an individual filter from its chip or use Clear all to restore the complete catalog.

What entry views are available?
Entries can be browsed as a list, timeline, or calendar. Search and selected filters stay in the page URL, and entry detail pages keep the Entry or Insights tab selected after reload.
Images and Insights
Can I attach an image?
Yes. The journal accepts GIF, JPEG, PNG, and WebP files up to 5 MB. The upload is queued locally when necessary and is attached to the entry after the server accepts it.
Can Be Here Meow generate an image or insights?
Yes, when the required AI providers are configured. Entry analysis and image generation run as separate background jobs, so one can finish or retry without blocking the other. The entry opens immediately after saving and shows the real state of unfinished work.
Can I share an entry publicly?
No. The app does not create public profiles or sharing links. Export cloud-synced journal data from Account when you need your own portable copy.
Offline and Sync
What works without a network connection?
You can write, edit, and browse locally available entries. Supported entry changes and media work are queued and retried after reconnection. The interface calls out any operation that still requires the server.
AI generation, cloud export, profile and password changes, and account deletion require an active connection.
Does the journal sync across devices?
Yes, while signed in and online. Each device keeps a local working copy and synchronizes with the account. If both sides contain meaningfully different edits, the journal asks whether to use the server version or keep the local draft.
