Yes. The core web journal is available without a paid subscription. Optional Inner Garden enrollment remains absent until its release gate is enabled.
Is my journal public?
No. Entries belong to the signed-in account and are not published as a social feed. See Account & Security and the Privacy Policy for how the app and its service providers process data.
Can I export my journal?
Yes. Account → Export Journal downloads cloud-synced entries as JSON while online. See the Data Management guide.
Does writing work offline?
Yes. The app stores journal work locally and queues supported changes for reconnection. Server-only features such as AI generation and account management still require a network connection.
